Frequently Asked Questions- Visionary Workforce Staffing- JAX
  • What type of agency is Visionary Workforce Staffing™?

Visionary Workforce Staffing™ is a Jacksonville-based nursing agency and employment agency specializing in the placement of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with healthcare facilities across Northeast Florida.

  • What areas do you serve?

We serve healthcare facilities and nursing professionals across Northeast Florida, including Jacksonville, Orange Park, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Fleming Island, Fernandina Beach, and surrounding communities.

  • What makes Visionary Workforce Staffing™ different from other agencies?

We combine speed, quality, and local expertise. Most placements are confirmed within 24–72 hours, every candidate is fully credentialed and background-checked before placement, and every client gets a dedicated account manager or recruiter — not a call center. We know Jacksonville's healthcare market, and we're invested in long-term relationships, not just quick fills.

  • How quickly can you place a nurse at our facility?

Most RN, LPN, and CNA placements are confirmed within 24–72 hours. For urgent per diem needs, we often fill shifts the same day. Contact us directly for time-sensitive requests.

  • What types of staffing solutions do you offer for facilities?

We offer four flexible staffing models:

    • Per Diem — On-demand shift coverage for last-minute needs
    • Contract — 8–13 week assignments for extended vacancies or seasonal surges
    • Temp-to-Perm — Evaluate a candidate on the job before committing to a permanent hire
    • Permanent Placement — Direct hire recruiting for long-term positions
  • What screening process do your candidates go through?

Every nurse and CNA we place goes through a rigorous vetting process, including:

    • Active license verification (Florida state board)
    • Criminal background check and sex offender registry check
    • Reference checks from previous employers
    • Skills assessment relevant to the placement setting
    • Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings
    • BLS/CPR certification confirmation
    • I-9 and employment eligibility verification
  • Do facilities have to sign long-term contracts?

No. We do not require long-term contracts for per diem or contract staffing. We believe in earning your trust through results, not locking you into agreements.

  • What types of facilities do you staff?

    • Assisted living and memory care communities
